T2 Flex and AutoVu Integration

The integration of the Genetec AutoVu™ automatic license plate recognition solution with T2 Systems’ parking management solution allows customers to increase parking enforcement efficiency by automatically synchronizing permit and infraction information between AutoVu and T2 Systems products, simplifying the move to Pay-by-Plate parking and streamlining infraction enforcement. Genetec AutoVu integrates with T2 Flex and T2 eTicketBook.

T2 Flex Unified Parking Solution

Through AutoVu's Pay-By-Plate Sync plugin, AutoVu dynamically pulls permit information from T2 Flex based on time, day, and permit zone. This information is stored in Security Center, the back-office software of the AutoVu solution used to manage vehicles, permits and zones, and to generate reports. Security Center then synchronizes the latest lists with parking enforcement vehicles running AutoVu Patroller, the in-vehicle software of the AutoVu solution. When a parking infraction is detected, AutoVu ensures the validity of the hit by contacting the T2 Flex server and verifying if a permit has been granted to the vehicle since the last permit list refresh. This robust integration minimizes citation disputes while maintaining ease of use.

T2 Flex integration is available with Genetec Security Center 5.2 SR2 or later.

T2 eTicketBook Citation-Writing Software

Infractions enforced through the AutoVu Patroller in-vehicle software can be sent to T2 eTicketbook, automatically populating the following information:

  • The license plate number read
  • The GPS coordinates of the infraction
  • Images of the license plate and the vehicle

The citations can then be printed using an in-vehicle printer, simplifying infraction enforcement and increasing officer efficiency.

T2 eTicketBook integration requires eTicketBook V7.4 or later and AutoVu Patroller 5.1 SR3 or later.

T2 Systems

The Security Center back-office software synchronizes permit information from T2 Flex and automatically distributes it to patrol vehicles based on their location. Infraction data is validated with T2 Flex and automatically populated in T2 eTicketbook.
