AAPA promotes the common interests of the port community, and provides leadership on trade, transportation, environmental and other issues related to port development and operations. The Canadian Parking Association was founded in 1983 with the primary goal to be the voice of the parking industry in Canada. The Canadian Parking Association is the national organization that represents the parking industry and provides a dynamic forum for learning and sharing to enhance their members' ability to serve the public and to improve the economic vitality of their communities.
The Latin American Security Association (ALAS) was founded in 1997 with a clear purpose in mind: educating, setting standards, and elevating the level of professionalism in the Latin American Security Market. ALAS is the furthering the education of electronic security technicians and engineers in Latin America, almost 2.800 people have been certified with this program at the end of 2004 in alarms, access control, CCTV, fire detection and security systems integration courses.
The NYSPA is a statewide organization created to enhance the development of parking professionals within the State of New York to provide a forum in which New York state parking professionals can network, share and disseminate information specific to the parking industry, and to speak with a united voice.
