Frictionless access for corporate campuses and enterprise facilities
Modern workplaces need access that is secure, fast, convenient, and easy to manage across employees, visitors, contractors, and service teams. Suprema biometric readers support flexible authentication methods across multiple form factors: BioStation 3 Max for premium lobbies and high-traffic entrances, BioStation 3 for contactless access points, BioEntry W3 for compact indoor or outdoor facial authentication, and BioEntry P2 for slim mullion-style fingerprint access where narrow installation spaces require a compact reader.
- Delivers fast walk-up access with AI-powered facial authentication and high-speed biometric matching.
- Improves the user experience with face, mobile access, RFID, QR/barcode, PIN, and fingerprint options by device model.
- Reduces entrance friction caused by forgotten cards, manual checks, and complex visitor flows.
- Supports front-desk and visitor scenarios with capabilities such as touchscreen interaction, VoIP intercom, and RTSP video monitoring.
- Fits diverse door environments with compact designs and durable IP/IK-rated hardware.

High-security access control for critical areas
Organizations operating data centers, government facilities, financial institutions, healthcare sites, and other sensitive environments need stronger identity assurance than cards or PINs alone can provide. Suprema Plugin enables biometric authentication with Suprema devices directly within Genetec Security Center, helping ensure that the person requesting access is the authorized cardholder.
- Strengthens restricted-area access by verifying the actual user, not just the credential.
- Reduces risks from card sharing, lost badges, copied PINs, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Supports stronger access policies with AI-powered face, fingerprint, card, PIN, QR, and mobile credentials.
- Adds device-level protection with features such as secure boot, secure components, tamper detection, and encrypted biometric handling.
- Keeps biometric access control unified inside the existing Genetec Security Center environment.
Unified biometric management for multi-site deployments
Enterprises with multiple buildings or regional sites need consistent access policies, simplified enrollment, and centralized operational visibility. Suprema Plugin allows operators to enroll biometric credentials, configure Suprema biometric readers, and manage biometric access workflows directly in Genetec Security Center, supporting scalable deployments.
- Simplifies biometric enrollment and device management from a familiar Security Center interface.
- Reduces software fragmentation by keeping biometric workflows inside one unified platform.
- Helps standardize AI-powered biometric authentication across sites, doors, and user groups.
- Supports scalable deployments with high-capacity devices for enterprise user populations.
- Maintains access continuity through offline authentication and event synchronization after reconnection.

Solution Architecture
Suprema Plugin is an integration plugin designed to enable Biometric Authentication in Genetec Security Center using Suprema devices.
The plugin allows users to enroll biometric credentials for cardholders directly from the Genetec Security Desk interface. Enrolled biometric data, along with Cardholder and Credential information from Genetec Security Center, is synchronized to Suprema devices.
Access Events generated from Suprema devices are uploaded to Genetec Security Center, allowing users to monitor and manage Suprema authentication results directly from Genetec Security Des
Suprema Device Plugin
Suprema Device Plugin enables Suprema biometric authentication workflows within Genetec Security Center.
It provides biometric enrollment within Genetec Security Center, synchronizes Cardholder and Credential information from Genetec Security Center to Suprema devices, and uploads Access Events generated by Suprema devices to Genetec Security Center.
Multiple Suprema Device Plugin instances can operate under a single Genetec Main Directory, allowing users to manage multiple Suprema device groups within the same Genetec Security Center environment.
Suprema Extractor Plugin
Suprema Extraction Plugin is responsible for managing Cardholder biometric data in a separate MS SQL database.
When multiple Suprema Device Plugin instances are used, they communicate with a single Suprema Extraction Plugin instance to fetch, insert, or update biometric data. This ensures that biometric data is managed consistently and prevents duplicate biometric records across multiple plugin instances.
