Genetec adheres to cybersecurity best practices. Penetration tests are conducted on a recurring basis on our product in order to catch vulnerabilities that could have been missed during product development.
CSPN Certification from ANSSI
The Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d'Information (ANSSI) carefully studied and tested the Security Center Synergis™ software and hardware components to assure the system adhered to one of the most stringent standards for European governments. The Certification de Sécurité de Premier Niveau (CSPN) rating certifies that Synergis has the latest cybersecurity standards to secure communication, servers, and data at every level of a security architecture.
UL 2900-2-3 Level 3 (L3) Cybersecurity Readiness Certification
Tested under the ‘Security and Life Safety’ category, UL 2900-2-3 specifically evaluates physical-security products for cybersecurity readiness in video management systems. Following a standardized methodology, the UL 2900-2-3 standard applies a three-tiered evaluation model, ranking with an increasing level of security for each tier. Security Center Omnicast has achieved the top tier (Level 3).
ISO/IEC 27001 standard
The ISO/IEC 27000 standards help organizations keep information and assets safe. Using these standards will help your organization manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted to you by third parties. ISO/IEC 27001 is the best-known standard in the industry providing requirements for an information security management system (ISMS).
FBI CJIS compliance
This government-community cloud enables U.S. federal agencies as well as state and local governments to leverage Genetec cloud services. This includes Security Center Cloud Archives, with the assurance that information stored in Azure Government meets the stringent security and compliance requirements of government agencies, including FedRAMP and the FBI Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS).
Microsoft Gold Certified Partner - Cloud platform
Gold Certified Partners have the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies and have the closest working relationship with Microsoft. Gold Certified Partners are required to attain a large number of qualifying Partner Points. This qualification method recognizes each partner's success in the marketplace, their commitment to Microsoft technologies, and provides the partners with resources and support such as priority listing in Microsoft directories, and other top-level benefits.
Security Center has received both a designation as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology and certification as an Approved Product for Homeland Security from the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Both the designation and the certification were granted under the Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act of 2002 (SAFETY Act).
European Privacy Seal
Our software includes automated privacy protection that adheres to the most stringent privacy standards. The KiwiVision Privacy Protector™ module protects the privacy of individuals within view of surveillance cameras. It is the only video surveillance product that has been certified with the European Privacy Seal.
CPNI video Analytics approval
CPNI is the government authority for protective security advice to the UK national infrastructure. Its role is to protect national security by helping to reduce the vulnerability of the national infrastructure to terrorism and other threats. The agency is accountable to the Director General of MI5. The purpose of the CPNI Video Analytics Assessment Program is to evaluate and approve video analytics products' detection accuracy, and more. KiwiVision™ Intrusion Detector has met the CPNI standard and has been included in the Catalogue of Security Equipment (CSE) of the UK government.
