Maps in Security Center™ Operator Training
This course teaches students to use maps as their primary interface. They will learn how to navigate between maps, as well as interact with entities and respond to alarms directly from the map. Practical exercises are proposed to understand the concepts through a real-life scenario.

Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course the participant will be able to:
- Navigate basic Security Center maps
- Use interactive maps with:
- Static background images/floorplans
- Online, dynamic background images (GIS, Open Streets, Bing, etc)
- Control the following map objects on the maps:
- Cameras / Camera sequences
- Doors / Areas
- Zones
- Alarms
- Viewer layouts
- Input pins and output relays
- Map links, text, images and geometric shapes •
- Respond to events from the map
