Powered by Genetec is a new program that brings our access control software directly onto third-party hardware at the edge. It’s Axis controllers, but with Genetec software pre-loaded. The unit is ready to connect to Security Center right out of the box. The program is also non-exclusive, giving you the flexibility to expand to other hardware manufacturers down the road.

The A1210 network door controller manages one door and supports up to two readers. The A1610 covers two doors with up to four readers. They’re both compact enough to install right at the door, whether that’s in a drop ceiling or wherever the job demands. Each unit also stores credentials and events locally, so access decisions keep running even if your network drops. And if you already have Synergis™ Cloud Link hardware in place, these controllers connect alongside it in the same system.

Stay secure with built-in cybersecurity at both the hardware and software levels. Protection kicks off the moment you power on your unit, which then gets to work on verifying its own firmware integrity. Communications stay encrypted, and there are no default passwords. Instead, you set a password as soon as you connect to the unit. At the software level, Security Center takes care of certificate management, password rotation, and scheduled firmware updates.
