New Cloudrunner capabilities to speed up vehicle-centric investigations
We’ve released new Cloudrunner capabilities to give you greater reach, context, and control during vehicle-centric investigations. As always, we’re keeping security and privacy at the core of innovation.

Quickly find vehicles that move together through cohort analysis
Criminal activity and coordinated operations often involve multiple vehicles, but identifying those connections manually can take hours. Cohort analysis helps automatically uncover vehicles that consistently appear together across locations and over time.
Start with a known plate as the anchor vehicle. You set the minimum frequency, the co-occurrence window, and a time range from hours to months. Cohort analysis results appear as a list of associated vehicles with occurrence counts, timestamps, and locations, ready for export.

Add visual context with on-demand video clips
Video adds valuable context to a plate read, helping you assess occupants, direction of travel, vehicle behavior, and other details that might not be visible in a single image. This feature lets you request a short video clip from a video-capable Cloudrunner camera, which you can view or download directly from the Monitoring or Reporting task. Note: The on-demand video clip feature will go live in November 2026.

Share hotlists with trusted partner agencies
Work with trusted partners to capture real-time hits generated across partner cameras. You choose which specific hotlists to share, always maintaining ownership and control of your data. You can revoke partnerships at any time, and every action is auditable.

Understand vehicle activity with hotlist insights
The hotlist insights feature provides visibility into the activity of hotlisted vehicles. It surfaces hit statistics, trends, and detailed reporting for deeper analysis, helping you make operational decisions with confidence.

Deploy with greater flexibility
We’ve made updates to SharpV OS 14.6.0 to make it even easier to deploy Cloudrunner how and where you need.
|
Expanded support for to up to three data output extensions lets SharpV send plate reads to Security Center and two additional systems simultaneously, without custom integrations |
|
|
Store-and-forward ensures that devices store reads locally during connectivity interruptions and deliver them automatically when the connection is restored |
|
|
Security improvements help maintain reliable, secure SharpV deployments |
