What is the new front desk experience?
The new Front desk task introduces a new way of interacting with Security Center SaaS. The space is designed specifically for front desk staff to simplify visitor tasks, from check-in to check-out.
Front desk teams often struggle to manage multiple systems. Switching platforms to check in visitors and manage cardholders leads to longer wait times and security issues. With this new space, organizations can streamline front desk tasks in one platform.
Your team can check in and screen walk-in visitors, view planned visits on a calendar, and check in planned visitors from the same interface. Future updates will add features such as cardholder management and access assignment.
Increase security for your organization
Screen walk-in visitors in your school campus against external databases and registries using Checkr.* If a security screening match is found, the security team gets notified immediately. You can also set up event-to-actions to notify security personnel of a match or sound an alarm.
Checkr provides a quick, accurate screening service. The service streamlines visitor check-in and increases security for your organization. For example, schools can maintain a safe learning environment by verifying all visitors during check-in.

New unified navigation in Security Center SaaS
The front desk user experience is part of a new unified navigation. The redesigned start page and centralized navigation menu are intuitive to use. A simplified navigation structure lets you transition between tasks seamlessly. All this enhances your team’s workflow continuity.

The new Front desk task and unified navigation are available now to all Security Center SaaS customers. Visitor screening is available at an additional cost to customers in the US.
