The Schlage / Genetec Security Center Wi-Fi solution utilizes a Middleware server, which acts as a conduit for information passed between the Genetec system and the Wi-Fi locks. This integration permits the installation of battery powered NDEB or LEB locks to periodically contact the system via the Middleware (up to 3X per day) to obtain access levels, administrate / revoke credentials, and report audits; high priority audits are reported immediately (e.g. Door Forced Open, Tamper). Users can manage access via the Security Center. All communication is encrypted
The Schlage NDEB and LEB are ideal for office and suite entries, higher education student housing, conference rooms and door locations that are often difficult or expensive to route wires to a wall mount reader. The locks are weather resistant, and the lever handing is field reversible. The Schlage NDEB and LEB offer up to 2 years of battery life.
Credential compatibility* includes (but is not limited to):

Features and benefits
Property managers can leverage their existing Wi-Fi infrastructure for access control. The ENGAGE Middleware solution lowers the total cost of installation by eliminating additional hardware, such as PIMS or Gateways.
This solution provides native management experience for Genetec Security Center users.
