CyberGate enhances physical security by integrating IP-based intercom and video systems with Microsoft Teams—now extended into Genetec Security Center (Sipelia). The integration allows door unlock through DTMF  as long as the intercom relay is wired to the door and intercom communication into one seamless operational workflow.

By integrating with Genetec Security Center (Sipelia), CyberGate enables live intercom video streams and calls to be accessible and actionable directly from within Microsoft Teams, while still managed and monitored through Security Center. This provides greater situational awareness, faster response times, and streamlined operations without disrupting existing infrastructure.

Solution Architecture Overview

 

The CyberGate solution integrates with Genetec Security Center Sipelia over a SIP Trunk and, enabling intercom calls and video to be extended into Microsoft Teams in a secure and scalable way.

  • IP Intercoms are connected directly to Genetec Security Center Sipelia, which manages and monitors access control and video streams.
  • Through a SIP Trunk, Genetec communicates with CyberGate, which routes the intercom calls into Microsoft Teams.
  • Within Teams, users can receive calls, see the intercom live video, and to open doors (use DTMF tones ) —all from their desktop or mobile device.
  • The CyberGate Teams app allows administrators to configure multi-ring groups, making it possible to ring multiple users simultaneously until one picks up.

This setup empowers security and reception staff to respond quickly and effectively from any location, while keeping all access events visible and logged in Genetec Security Center.
