AutoVu SharpV Administrator Certification Training
This course introduces basic concepts for the AutoVu™ product with the SharpV hardware. It will go over installation, configuration and management of SharpV hardware with Genetec Security Center. The course also covers advanced SharpV configurations such as virtual loops, and the creation of hotlists.
Prerequisites
CompTIA’s Network+, Cisco CCENT, or equivalent network training is recommended. An online IT skills quiz is available to ensure baseline IT skills are met.

Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course the participant will be able to:
- Understand License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology fundamentals and mechanics
- Install and configure a basic Security Center system with Fixed Sharp Cameras
- Manage Sharp camera connectivity and Security Center
- Camera installation recommendations
- Configure Hotlists and the ALPR Matcher role
- Configure Virtual Loops & Region of Interest
- Configure speed estimation for SharpV
- Understand available fixed design options and tools
- Generate reports on reads and hits
