In physical security systems today, the increased use of Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled systems such as IP-cameras, access control panels, intercoms and more are enhancing overall security and safety. However, the operational management of these connected devices has become a liability.
The system owner and their service providers often struggle to keep the diverse systems well monitored, properly maintained and consistently available.
SecuriThings allows organizations to ensure their devices and management systems are configured properly, maintained consistently, and hardened effectively against cyber threats. This includes automating important maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, password rotations, certificate management, and device restarts – as well as ensuring that all device updates are aligned and compatible with their management system, and vice versa.

Solution Architecture
SecuriThings integrates securely with Security Center through the Genetec API. The devices managed by Security Center are introduced to SecuriThings and their status (online / offline) is shared in real-time.
When the SecuriThings platform performs any change to the devices, such as password rotation, it updates Security Center with the information and verifies that connectivity to the device is maintained.
